In the past 10 days, the Ministry of Home Affairs has taken 18 historic actions in Kashmir, aimed at ending decades of injustice, terrorism, and separatism.

1. Citizenship and Demographic Reforms

500,000 Hindu and Sikh families have been granted citizenship in Kashmir.
Kashmiri Pandits and Sikhs, who had lost their homes and rights for decades, are now regaining their rights and dignity.

This is a historic moment, as it will restore the demographic balance of Kashmir.

2. Action Against Separatists and Political Protection

All political and administrative powers of Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have been withdrawn.

The Secretariat will now permanently remain in Jammu, ending seasonal relocations due to cold weather.
The Chief Minister’s rank has been downgraded from 7th to 15th in the presidential protocol.

Transfer of Kashmiri IAS officers has been implemented to strengthen administrative control.

6. Security, Surveillance, and Law & Order

Tourism and forest departments will be directly controlled from Delhi, preventing local aid to external aggressors.

Banks have been removed from state control, allowing Kashmiri Pandits and external investors to freely invest in Kashmir.
Tourism and other economic activities will be overseen by the central government to ensure no misuse by extremists.

The Congress and its allies never planned or executed any concrete action.

If a church window was broken, media would debate it for weeks.

Why? Because it doesn’t fit the anti-Hindu, anti-national narrative.

For opposition leaders, this became an opportunity to spread false propaganda – like “anti-Modi” or “citizenship violation” claims.
