Today, India is witnessing a new and positive wave of transformation. A significant number of educated, civilized, and patriotic Indian Muslims are now openly supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationalist and development-oriented governance, while opposing the jihadi and extremist elements within their own community whose activities have tarnished the image of the entire Muslim community—not just in India, but globally.
This is not merely a political shift, but a people’s awakening in favor of national unity, communal harmony, and a stand against extremism.
1. Waqf Amendment Act: A Historic Turning Point
The Waqf Amendment Act passed in 2024 marked a historic moment for India. For decades, Waqf Boards controlled vast lands, with widespread concerns about a lack of transparency and corruption.
This law:
- Curtailed the arbitrary powers of the Waqf Boards,
- Prohibited the declaration of any land as Waqf without proper documentation,
- Protected government and poor people’s lands.
While some radical groups opposed this, many Indian Muslims welcomed it, recognizing it as a step not against Islam, but towards internal reform and transparency.
2. Demand for Investigation Against AIMPLB
The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) challenged the Waqf Amendment in the Supreme Court and announced nationwide protests.
Progressive Muslim leaders responded strongly. During a recent rally, there was a demand for an investigation into AIMPLB.
Siddiqui Sahab questioned AIMPLB’s credibility: “I don’t understand why AIMPLB is even called a ‘board.’ They never help Muslims but always side with those inciting the community. I had previously written to them asking to drop the word ‘board’ from their name. I’ll soon meet Home Minister Amit Shah Ji to demand an investigation into their activities.”
3. Shaheen Bagh: From Protest to Progress
Shaheen Bagh, once known for anti-CAA protests, is now becoming a symbol of positive change. A large rally was recently held there, where many progressive Muslims participated—but this time, with a new purpose: to support development, peace, and nation-building.
Highlights from the rally:
- Clerics spoke against extremism and encouraged youth to pursue education and employment,
- Welcomed the Waqf Amendment and questioned the corrupt practices of Waqf Boards,
- Chants like “Vikas aur Aman Zindabad” (Long live development and peace) created a positive atmosphere.
This change signifies a growing awakening in the Muslim community and a shift toward genuine progress.
4. Modi: The Only Option for India’s Future
The current reality is clear: if India is to become a developed nation like the U.S. or Japan, there is no alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
If we remain trapped in false promises, appeasement politics, casteism, and corruption, India could sink into poverty and chaos like Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Lebanon, where people still struggle for basic needs like food, water, electricity, and medicine.
Muslims who stand with India now understand:
Modi’s governance is just, transparent, and forward-looking,
Under his leadership, the country is both safe and prospering,
Development and nationalism are now becoming priorities for Muslims too.
5. A New Identity for Muslims: Nationalism, Not Extremism
Until now, the actions of a few extremists have stained the image of the entire Muslim community. Whether it’s ISIS, the Taliban, or local terror outfits, their actions:
Now, educated and patriotic Muslims are declaring: “We don’t want to be identified with extremists. We are citizens of India, and we want development, equality, and peace—not jihad.”
A New Chapter of Social Harmony
Today, a large section of Muslims in India is openly supporting the reformist initiatives and development agenda of the Modi government. From the Waqf Amendment Act, the ban on triple talaq, women’s rights, to raising voices against institutions like AIMPLB—these are strong steps in the right direction.
Muslims are now showing they are not hostages to radicals, but equal partners in building the nation.
“If we want to make India the next developed nation in the world, we must stand with Modi Ji. Otherwise, we risk falling into the pit of poverty and failure.
”🇳🇪 Jai Bharat, Vandematram 🇳🇪”
