Bengal is Burning

When Bengal Burns – Why Are Hindu Institutions Silent?

  • When Hindus in Bengal are facing brutal atrocities,
  • When temples are being destroyed,
  • When Hindu daughters are unsafe,
  • When entire villages are being abandoned —

One question echoes in the hearts of millions of Sanatanis:

👉 Where are our Hindu organizations and religious institutions?

🧡 The Silence of Nationalist Organizations – A Painful Question

  • Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)
  • Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)
  • Bajrang Dal
  • Akhada Parishad and various saints’ councils
  • Arya Samaj, Vaishnava sects, Niranjani Akhada, Mahanirvani Akhada
  • ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness)
  • Ramakrishna Mission and Math
  • Brahmakumaris
  • Ayappa sect, Nath Sampradaya, Lingayat institutions
  • Bharat Sevashram Sangh

and many more…

  • How many of these organizations have actually gone to Bengal
  • How many have provided shelter or aid to the victims?
  • How many have raised their voices or launched mass movements?

Answer: Almost none.

📛 Religion in Crisis, But Religious Gurus Are Silent

We must ask ourselves:

  • Are these organizations only meant for festive processions and symbolic rituals?
  • Are mathas (monasteries) now focused only on protecting their massive wealth?
  • Has religion been reduced to TV sermons, temple debates, and donation drives?
  • When Hindus were burning in Bengal,
  • when daughters were crying,
  • when men were butchered,
  • when temples were razed —

the entire saint society, Hindu organizations, and institutions remained silent.

🕉️ Running Away From the Duty of Dharma Raksha?

During the Ram Mandir inauguration, these saints were highly visible.

They’re always ready to give political lectures.

They’re quick to issue fatwas on women’s clothing or who can bathe at Kumbh.

  • But when Hindu homes in Bengal burned,
  • when innocents screamed,
  • when temples were desecrated —

This entire saint society and organizational system vanished.

❗ Is This Not Their Responsibility?

  • Shouldn’t RSS, with its nationwide presence, take the lead in Bengal?
  • Shouldn’t VHP and Bajrang Dal, known for “Hindu defense,” be on the ground?
  • Shouldn’t Akhada Parishad, which unites thousands of saints, lead a spiritual protest?
  • Shouldn’t ISKCON, spreading Sanatan Dharma globally, serve the victims in Bengal?
  • Shouldn’t Ramakrishna Mission, inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s path of selfless service, rise in action?
  • Shouldn’t Brahmakumaris, who talk of “world peace,” at least speak against this violence?

📣 The People Are Asking – We Want Answers

The Hindu public is awake now.

  • They are asking questions.
    They want to know:
  • When the fire is raging,
Where are the so-called “Defenders of Dharma”?
  • Are these institutions only meant for spiritual tourism and TV appearances?
  • Is protecting luxurious mathas the new religion, not protecting common Hindus?
  • Have the poor and persecuted Hindus been forgotten by these religious institutions?

🔥 If You Cannot Protect, Step Aside

  • If you cannot visit the victims,
  • If you cannot protest on the streets,
  • If you cannot support the government to defend Hindus —

Then please stop branding yourselves as “protectors of dharma.”True dharma is one that stands with the suffering.
Everything else is hypocrisy.

🛡️ Now the People Must Lead

Let us resolve:

  • To stop blind faith and demand accountability.
  • To unite and create a strong, grassroots force of Hindus.
  • To believe in service and protection as the core of Sanatan Dharma.
  • To awaken or reject the institutions that sleep through our pain.

✊ Dharma is Under Siege – The Gurus, Mathas, and Organizations Must Answer

📌 If you are not standing with Dharma, you are standing against it.
📌 Now we need more than speeches – we need solutions and service.

We have undertaken a focused initiative to raise awareness among Hindus regarding the challenges currently confronting us as a community, our Hindu religion, and our Hindu nation, and to deeply understand the potential consequences of these issues. Through this awareness, Hindus will come to realize the underlying causes of these problems, identify the factors and entities contributing to them, and explore the solutions available. Equally essential, they will learn the critical role they can play in actively addressing these challenges
