Constitution or Sharia? — A Wake-Up Call for Every Indian

Constitution or Sharia?

Today, India faces a crucial question — will the nation be governed by the Constitution or by Sharia law? This issue is not just about religion or politics; it concerns every Indian’s freedom, equality, and justice.

🔥 1. The Statement That Shook the Nation

Recently, former MLA Mavia Ali from Saharanpur made a shocking declaration:

  • “We are Muslims first, then Indians. Sharia is our constitution. If Indian law clashes with Islam, we will stand with Islam.”
  • This is not just an individual’s opinion — it is a direct challenge to India’s unity, its constitutional authority, and its national integrity.
  • It exposes a dangerous mindset spreading quietly in some sections of society — a mindset that places religious loyalty above national loyalty.

⚠️ 2. The Dangerous Reality Behind Such Thinking

  • This statement reveals a mindset that believes religion is superior to the nation.
  • It undermines the supremacy of the Indian Constitution, the very foundation of our democracy.
  • It justifies a parallel judicial system (Sharia) that conflicts with the secular, uniform justice system of India.
  • Such thinking promotes division and radicalism, threatening the peace and social fabric of Bharat.

🇮🇳 3. The Real Problem: Misplaced Priorities of Indians

  • Sadly, this problem does not exist only among extremists.
It reflects a larger national weakness — the way many Indians prioritize their lives.
  • For most people, selfish interests come first,
  • then come religious and ideological beliefs,
  • and only at the very end comes love for the nation.
  • This inverted order is destroying the moral foundation of our society.

💡 We must realize:

  • “If the nation is not safe, your religion, your family, and your personal life are also not safe.”
  • When the country collapses, everything else collapses with it.
That’s why the first duty of every citizen must be loyalty to the nation, before any personal, religious, or ideological attachment.

⚖️ 4. India’s Constitution — The Supreme Law

  • India’s Constitution is not just a legal document; it is the sacred contract that unites 140 crore citizens as one nation.
  • It gives everyone freedom of religion — but within the limits of national law.
  • It promises equality before the law — not separate laws for different faiths.
  • It ensures justice and liberty — but not at the cost of national unity.
  • If everyone starts saying “my religion is above the Constitution,”
then India will break into a thousand pieces — just like what happened in 1947.

🛑 5. The Need for National Discipline and Accountability

To safeguard Bharat’s integrity, some firm principles must guide our society:

No one is above the law.

  • Anyone who declares loyalty to Sharia or any law above the Constitution must face legal and social consequences.
  • If you cannot respect the Constitution, you have no right to live in India.
  • Those who feel unhappy with Indian laws, culture, and unity should not stay in this country while enjoying its benefits.

National loyalty must be non-negotiable.

  • Every citizen — regardless of faith — must put India First.

Beware of radical and extremist ideologies.

  • Whether religious or political, such ideologies weaken the nation from within and must be confronted fearlessly.

Promote constitutional and civic education.

  • Schools, colleges, and social institutions must teach the values of equality, duty, and patriotism as defined in our Constitution.

🕉️ 6. The Sanatan View — Nation and Dharma Are One

  • In Sanatan Dharma, Dharma means righteousness, justice, and duty — not blind faith.
  • Serving the nation is the highest form of Dharma, because the nation is the protector of all other rights and beliefs.
  • Our civilization has always respected all religions,
but never accepted any religion as superior to the nation itself.

True Sanatanis know that:

  • “Protecting Bharat is protecting Dharma.”

🧭 7. What We Indians Must Change

To make Bharat strong and united again, we must fix our national character:

  • Replace Selfishness with Duty:
Personal comfort cannot come before national interest.
  • Replace Division with Unity:
Stop seeing people as Hindu, Muslim, or Christian — see them as Bharatiya.
  • Replace Religious Supremacy with Constitutional Supremacy:
The law of the land must be above all religious laws.
  • Replace Laziness with Sincerity:
Every citizen must contribute honestly to nation-building, in whatever field they work.
  • Replace Fear with Courage:
Speak up against anti-national or extremist ideologies — silence only helps the wrong side.

🛕 8. Our Responsibility as Citizens

  • Respect the Constitution as a sacred document.
  • Educate children about their duties, not just their rights.
  • Encourage civic participation — vote, volunteer, and voice out against injustice.
  • Reject divisive politics that exploits religion or caste.
  • Defend Bharat’s unity in every space — home, school, workplace, and online.

🕊️ 9. The Final Truth — India First, Always

  • The Constitution is not against any religion — it protects all equally.
But no religion can be allowed to challenge the Constitution.
  • If we do not put Bharat above ourselves,
then no law, no army, and no leader can save us.
  • It is time we correct the order of our loyalty:
  • Nation First → Duty Second → Faith Third → Self Last.
  • Because only a safe and strong nation can protect our homes, temples, mosques, and dreams.
  • “Loyalty to the nation is not optional — it is the highest Dharma.” 🇮🇳
  • If we fail to do this, we will never become a global power, and another country will once again come and enslave us.

🇮🇳Jai Bharat, Vandematram 🇮🇳
