Is Modi Really to Blame for Everything? A Call for Reflection

It seems like everyone is busy blaming Modiji these days, no matter what the issue. Hindus accuse him of not supporting the Hindutva cause, while Muslims claim he is promoting Saffron Terrorism. The opposition parties—Congress, AAP, TMC, and others—blame him for everything they perceive as wrong in the country: inflation, unemployment, a weak economy, the struggles of farmers, the plight of the poor, backward communities, Dalits, minorities—the list goes on.

Even Hindutva organizations like the RSS, VHP, and many Hindu religious leaders are voicing dissatisfaction, saying that Modi and his BJP-led government have not done enough for Hindus. The Lutyens’ media, which has long been aligned with Congress and various left-leaning elements, continuously accuses him of leading the country backward. In the last 10 years, this blame game has been relentless and shows no signs of stopping.

Some critics even go to the extreme, claiming that Modi is “selling the country” to businessmen like Ambani and Adani. They accuse him of pursuing his own self-interest, even suggesting that his ultimate goal is to win the Nobel Peace Prize. If I were to invite people to list their complaints, they would surely add more to this exhaustive list. It’s as though nothing good has happened in the last decade under Modi’s leadership.

But is that really true?

Despite all the noise, Modi has been working tirelessly for the country. He has led like an elephant—strong and steady—ignoring the barking dogs around him. His government has fought against corruption, tackled black money, reined in the black economy, and combated terrorism. He has laid the groundwork for India’s growth, and the progress is evident. Under his leadership, India has grown to become the fifth-largest economy in the world.

We need more leaders like Modi, Yogi, Ajit Doval, and others, who are committed to the nation and not driven by selfish interests. Their goal is clear: take India to new heights and make it one of the three major economies of the world.

Let’s not forget where we were just ten years ago. India was begging the world for economic aid, struggling under a weak economy. We had to send our gold reserves abroad as collateral just to keep the country running. Corruption, tax evasion, black money, and selfish political interests were the norm. These evils were draining away all the country’s resources, leaving little for real development.

In the last 10 years, these evils have been reduced significantly, although not entirely eliminated. After all, corruption and black money had been entrenched in our system for over 60 years—it’s going to take time to root them out completely. But Modi has worked relentlessly to bring in transparency and digitalization in government procedures. If we were wise as a nation, we would have given him a thumping majority in this year’s parliamentary election to continue this progress unhindered. But we didn’t.

Instead, we’ve been misled by the opposition parties and the Lutyens’ media, whose livelihoods have been severely impacted by Modi’s crackdown on corruption and scams. They can’t swindle money for their own interests anymore, and that’s a major reason for their dissatisfaction with the BJP-led government.

Because of the weak mandate given to Modi in his third term, the opposition parties—including Congress, TMC, AAP, and other anti-national forces—have been emboldened. Muslims, along with various anti-national elements, have been encouraged to unite in their efforts to destabilize the country and oust Modi from power. They want to bring the country back to what it was 10 years ago—a country riddled with corruption and mismanagement—so they can resume their corrupt practices.

Despite all this, Modi has not slowed down. He is working even harder to elevate India’s stature on the global platform. Just look at the recent accomplishment: India securing a permanent seat at the United Nations with veto power, sidelining China. This is no small feat, and it’s clear that the global community recognizes Modi’s leadership. Of course, this has further alienated China, which will likely intensify its efforts to destabilize India through political and communal unrest. But Modi has proven time and again that he can handle these challenges.

As a patriotic Indian and a concerned citizen, I want to call out to all my fellow countrymen, especially the Hindu community, who seem to be sleeping through these critical times. Instead of blaming Modi for not doing enough for the Hindutva cause, ask yourselves: What have we done to support him? What have we done to support Hindutva, or even the country?

We’ve miserably failed to stand by him when it was needed the most. Even God helps only those who help themselves. If we don’t act now—if we don’t help ourselves, each other, and the nation—then not even divine intervention will save us from destruction.

It’s time to wake up. Jai Hind!

From a concerned common citizen.

We have undertaken a focused initiative to raise awareness among Hindus regarding the challenges currently confronting us as a community, our Hindu religion, and our Hindu nation, and to deeply understand the potential consequences of these issues. Through this awareness, Hindus will come to realize the underlying causes of these problems, identify the factors and entities contributing to them, and explore the solutions available. Equally essential, they will learn the critical role they can play in actively addressing these challenges
