Introduction: Religion, Faith, and Political Suppression
– Recently, in Delhi’s Supreme Court, a 71-year-old senior lawyer threw a shoe towards Chief Justice B.R. Gavai.
– He proclaimed, “We will not tolerate the insult of Sanatana.” This was an emotional expression of hurt religious sentiments, not caste hatred or personal enmity.
– Yet, the Left media presented this only as an “attack on a Dalit CJI,” suppressing the core issue.
– This incident highlights how leftists and the Left media tend to portray every voice connected to Sanatana Dharma or Hindu faith as casteist, class struggle, or anti-religion.
1. Hindus’ Silent Endurance and Its Consequences
– The Hindu community has long silently endured attacks on their religious beliefs, practices, and culture.
– This tolerance has emboldened their opponents to become increasingly aggressive and unrestrained in their attacks.
– When a community continually bears injustices silently, opponents interpret it as weakness and intensify their assaults.
– Now the question arises: Will the Sanatana community awaken, unite, and strongly retaliate to protect their religion, culture, and nation?
2. Leftist Mentality: Turning Opposition into Casteism
– The Left habitually converts any opposition or reaction into casteism, class conflict, or social hatred.
– Voices supporting Hindu religion or culture are immediately labelled “Brahminical” or “casteist” to delegitimize them.
– This strategy aims to weaken Hindu society’s faith and unity.
3. The Actual Incident and Emotional Response
– The lawyer who threw the shoe mentioned no caste.
– His statement “We will not tolerate the insult of Sanatana” was clearly rooted in religious sentiment.
– The incident occurred after Justice Gavai remarked in the Khajuraho Vishnu idol restoration case, “If you are true devotees, go and ask God.”
– Many devout Hindus found this comment insensitive and offensive.
– Although the lawyer’s act was legally improper, its root cause was a wound to religious sentiment, not casteism.
4. The Left’s Double Standards
– In 2009, when Jarnail Singh threw a shoe at Home Minister P. Chidambaram, the Left media praised it as courageous dissent.
– Similarly, in 2008, Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zaidi throwing a shoe at George Bush was hailed as a symbol of rebellion.
– Yet, when the same occurs in a context involving Sanatana Dharma and a Hindu accused, the media suddenly starts preaching morality and ethics.
– This exposes their agenda, which is division of Hindu society, not protecting faith.
5. Politics and Fear of Hindu Unity
– Since 2014, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi uplifting Hindu society beyond caste, opposition and Left politics have faltered.
– They resort to old tactics in every election:
– Propagating “Brahminical Hindutva”
– Spreading rumors about ending reservations
– Creating narratives about “attack on Dalit CJIs”
– In fact, Hindu unity is the biggest threat to Left and opposition parties.
– Hence, even the smallest religious opposition is portrayed as caste-based conspiracy.
6. Double Standards and Hypocrisy of Silence
– When Islamic extremists raise slogans like “Cut off the head,” Left circles remain silent.
– The Supreme Court held that Nupur Sharma’s remarks were the cause of ensuing violence.
– No major secular leader or intellectual has openly condemned extremist acts.
– But when Hindu sentiments are hurt, the entire media-Left machinery springs into action.
– This reveals that Left’s priority is not religion or law but divisive politics.
7. Essence of Sanatana Dharma: Beyond Caste, Embracing Civilization
– Saints like Ravidas, Kabir, and Chokhamela belonged to Dalit communities but practiced and elevated Sanatana Dharma.
– Sanatana Dharma does not belong to any one caste or class; it symbolizes the entirety of Bharat Mata’s rich civilization.
– Saying “We will not tolerate the insult of Sanatana” represents society-wide sentiment, not caste-based emotion.
8. Appeal to the Sanatana Community: Awake and Unite!
– The Hindu community has silently borne attacks on faith and culture for long, making attackers more aggressive.
– The time has come for religious, social, and spiritual leaders and all pro-Sanatana groups to step out of comfort zones.
– They must unite and strongly, collectively retaliate to any attack on religious beliefs, practices, or culture so powerfully that attackers do not dare repeat such acts.
– We must come together to protect Sanatana Dharma, our nation, society, and culture from the anti-national and anti-Hindu ecosystem.
– Will the Sanatana community wake up and establish a strong, effective unity for self-defense?
9. Awareness, Vigilance, and Proactive Defense
– Protecting Sanatana Dharma is a shared responsibility.
– Silent endurance harms and encourages opponents and must end now.
– Hindu society must rise consciously, intelligently, and firmly to defend its unity and faith.
– Protection of religion is also protection of culture, civilization, and nation.
Take pride in your culture, religion, and faith.
– Beware of divisive politics and misinformation.
– Be firm and united in defending religious sentiments and traditions.
– Religious, social, and spiritual leaders must unite society and strongly oppose every attack on faith.
