▪ Plan B: The second phase was then activated — involving direct armed attacks where terrorists opened fire on defenseless pilgrims, resulting in 26 Hindu devotees being martyred.
This was part of a well-coordinated strategy involving local Muslim mule drivers, guides, and overground workers actively collaborating with jihadi terrorists to target Hindus.

- Ekta Tiwari, a resident of Jaunpur, shared spine-chilling details about what she experienced:
According to her: - The mule driver accompanying her repeatedly tried to confirm her religious identity — Was she Hindu? Had she visited Ajmer Dargah? Had she read the Quran?
- When Ekta said she didn’t know Urdu, the mule driver suggested reading the Quran in Hindi or English — clear attempts at religious conversion.
- The driver also introduced himself as a Madrasa teacher, exposing his radicalized mindset.
- He probed further to find out the religion of Ekta’s companions — whether they were Hindus or not.
- He tried to lure Ekta into joining him for the Amarnath Yatra and insisted on getting her phone number — clearly planning to isolate and target her.
This shows that the plan was to first separate Hindu pilgrims and then attack them individually.
Disturbing Phone Call and Terrorist Conversations:
▪ At one point, the mule driver pulled out a small phone hidden in his luggage and contacted the terrorists.
▪ Over the phone, he said:
- “Plan A has failed, we must now implement Plan B.”
- “35 rifles have been hidden across the valley.”
- “20 tourists are approaching the designated spot.”
Hearing this, Ekta and her family realized the grave danger they were in.
Alarming Signs:
Ekta’s brother was wearing a Rudraksha, which triggered hostility from a local youth associated with the mule drivers.
The youth threatened and attempted to attack him, just because of the visible Hindu religious symbol.
▪ Acting on instinct and caution, Ekta’s family halted about 500 meters before the massacre site — which saved their lives.
Police Apathy:
▪ When Ekta called the police helpline for help, instead of taking her warning seriously, the response she got was:
“Don’t get too excited.”
▪ This clearly shows that even parts of the local police were complicit or at least negligent regarding the planned massacre.
The Bigger Face of the Conspiracy:
▪ This attack was not the act of just four terrorists.
It was a full-fledged jihadi network involving:
- Local mule drivers
- Tourist guides
- Hotel owners
- Shopkeepers
- And even some compromised sections of the security apparatus
▪ Tourists were being trapped exactly like sheep led to slaughter.
▪ The attack location was deliberately chosen — a beautiful spot called “Mini Switzerland” — to attract the maximum number of Hindu tourists into the death trap.
Harsh Reality:
Those whom we called “poor locals” often turned out to be terror collaborators.
Those whom we called “hospitable Kashmiris” were plotting to kill us.
- They survive on our money.
- They use our money to finance terrorism.
- And ultimately, they plan the slaughter of our brothers and sisters.
What Must Be Done Now:
- The central government must now abandon leniency and act with an iron hand against Kashmiri civilians involved in such activities.
- Hindus should completely refrain from traveling to Kashmir for now.
- Hindus must become aware, vigilant, and protect both their money and their lives.
- The Hindu community must unite, expose this sinister conspiracy, and exert pressure on the government for strong action.
