“The Mullah Runs to the Mosque” – But Where Does the Hindu Run?

This is not just an old proverb anymore — it has become a stark truth and a warning in today’s times. When a crisis arises — a riot, an attack, or a threat — certain communities have pre-established systems of defense, organization, communication, and response. But when the Hindu community faces a similar crisis, what happens?

The Hindu — whether Sanatani, Jain, Buddhist, or Sikh — feels helpless, scattered, and alone.

🔴 What is the root of the problem?

1. Temples have become mere places of worship

Bhajans, aartis, donations, and feasts are common — but there’s no focus on defense, community awareness, or self-protection.

2. There is no security infrastructure in temples

▪ No defense committee
▪ No local youth response team
▪ No emergency communication system

3. Temple management has no data on the local Hindu community

▪ No list of Hindu families nearby
▪ No phone numbers or addresses
▪ No system to alert and mobilize in emergencies

4. No physical or mental preparedness

▪ Traditional akhadas, gurukuls, and training centers are nearly extinct
▪ Youth are disconnected from temples
▪ Defense and service are not seen as a part of dharma

🛡️ What’s the solution? What must we do now?

We must transform temples into not just spiritual centers, but also into cultural and community defense hubs.

✅ 1. Form Temple Defense Teams

▪ Every temple should organize a local youth protection group
▪ Members should be trained in self-defense, crisis management, and communication
▪ These teams should be visible and active during major festivals and events

✅ 2. Build a Temple-Centric Hindu Contact Network

▪ Collect data on every Hindu family nearby
▪ Maintain updated records: names, house numbers, phone numbers
▪ Build a communication chain for emergencies

✅ 3. Re-establish Akhadas and Gurukuls at Temples

▪ Offer training in yoga, dhyan, physical fitness, scriptures, and martial arts
▪ Reconnect the youth with values, strength, and tradition

✅ 4. Develop an Emergency Alert System

▪ Install loudspeakers or SMS alert systems in temples
▪ In case of attack or crisis, inform the entire local Hindu community instantly

✅ 5. Go beyond Bhandaras – Share Awareness

▪ Every temple must host 2–3 awareness programs yearly
▪ Invite speakers, conduct discussions and workshops on unity, defense, dharma, and seva

📣 A Thought-Provoking Question:

When a temple is attacked,
When a priest is murdered,
When idols are desecrated…
Whom will the pujari call?

▪ No youth team nearby
▪ No community watch group
▪ No rapid response system to raise the alarm

This is not just negligence — it is collective suicide.

🔔 Time to Awaken the True Power of Our Temples

▪ Every temple must become a center of wisdom, service, and security
▪ Every devotee must become a soldier and a sevak of dharma
▪ Every religious leader must become a visionary guide for Hindu unity

Only then can we proudly say —
Yes, we are Sanatanis. Awake, Strong, and United.

We have undertaken a focused initiative to raise awareness among Hindus regarding the challenges currently confronting us as a community, our Hindu religion, and our Hindu nation, and to deeply understand the potential consequences of these issues. Through this awareness, Hindus will come to realize the underlying causes of these problems, identify the factors and entities contributing to them, and explore the solutions available. Equally essential, they will learn the critical role they can play in actively addressing these challenges
