Wrong Decision to Make Nehru PM and Its Decades-Long Consequences

1. The Decisive Moment of 1947 – The Question of Leadership

At the time of independence, when the question of electing India’s first Prime Minister came up, the situation was very clear:

  • Almost all provincial Congress committees proposed the name of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru did not get even a single nomination.
  • Gandhi ji intervened and insisted that if Nehru was not made Prime Minister, he would go on a fast.

👉 Under this pressure, Patel stepped back.
👉 The result: Nehru became Prime Minister, and this proved to be the biggest historical blunder of India.

2. The Burden of That One Decision – The Pain of Hindus and the Nation

Making Nehru the Prime Minister changed India’s destiny. The results were disastrous:

  • The foundation of Muslim appeasement politics was laid.
  • Hindus were deprived of their rightful space in their own land.
  • Temples were put under government control while Waqf Boards were given unchecked powers.
  • Hindu culture was sidelined in education.
  • Dynasty politics and family rule became the core of Congress politics.

👉 All this happened simply because Gandhi’s personal insistence was placed above national interest and majority opinion.

3. Patel vs. Nehru – Two Opposite Visions

  • Patel’s vision: Practical, nation-first, Hindu protection and national unity.
  • Nehru’s vision: Idealistic, rooted in Muslim appeasement, influenced by Western thought, and intoxicated with power.
  • Patel clearly said—“Since Partition happened on religious lines, Hindustan is now the land of Hindus.”
  • But Nehru ignored this and gave priority to Congress and false secularism over national unity.

4. Waqf Board and the Roots of Injustice

Nehru declared—

  • “The houses left by Muslims will not be given to Hindus; they will be handed over to the Waqf Board.”

👉 From here, the Waqf Board grew into a giant, controlling billions worth of land and properties, while Hindus remained neglected.

  • Patel’s vision was—“Settle the Hindus coming from Pakistan into these homes.”
  • But Nehru rejected this, planting the seed of injustice.

5. Attack on Temples and Hindu Institutions

Right after Partition, in Pakistan:

  • Temples and DAV schools were occupied.
  • Their names were changed to Islamic ones.
  • Hindus were forced to flee.
  • Patel warned about this danger.
  • But Nehru said—“Why should we bother about Pakistan?”

👉 This negligent and escapist attitude resulted in what we see today: Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are almost wiped out.

6. Secularism – A One-Sided Burden

Nehru raised the slogan—“We will make India secular.”
But in reality:

  • Secularism became a burden only for Hindus.
  • Hindu festivals faced restrictions.
  • Temples were put under government control.
  • Teaching Hinduism in schools was banned.
  • Meanwhile, Muslims and Christians freely ran their institutions.

👉 This fake secularism became India’s greatest curse.

7. Arrogance of Power in Congress

  • Nehru openly said—“This country belongs to Congress, and Congress will do as it wishes.”
  • This shows that for him, power and dynasty were above the nation.
  • Patel replied—“The British left, Muslims left, and Congress too will disappear one day.”
  • Today, as Congress stands at the margins, Patel’s prophecy has proved true.

8. “Mughal Mindset” and the Congress Path

Patel warned Nehru—“Give up this Mughal mindset.”
But Nehru and his dynasty carried that very mindset forward:

  • Muslim appeasement at its peak.
  • Continuous suppression of Hindus.
  • Dynasty politics, corruption, and vote-bank obsession.

👉 That very mindset has turned Congress and its allies into today’s “Thugbandhan.”

9. Modern Context – Lessons for Today

  • The big question: Will we repeat the same mistake again?
  • Will we again choose leaders who divide Hindus only to keep Muslims as a vote bank?
  • Will we lose leaders like Modi ji who work for the nation first?

👉 If Hindus remain divided and unaware, India’s future will be like Pakistan and Bangladesh—

  • Poor, unstable, radicalized, and a burden on the world.

10. The Modi Era – Revival and Rebirth

Under PM Modi’s leadership:

  • Appeasement politics has been stopped.
  • Hindus have regained their confidence.
  • India has become the world’s fastest-growing economy.
  • India commands respect and leadership on the global stage.
  • National security and defence have been strengthened.

👉 This is exactly the vision Patel had, which Modi ji is now fulfilling.

11. Never Repeat the Same Mistake

India’s greatest lesson is this:

  • Gandhi’s one wrong decision led to all our sufferings for decades.
  • That single choice is the root of every pain Hindus and the nation endured.
  • Now we must ensure we don’t repeat such a mistake again.

👉 If we lose Modi ji’s leadership, India will again sink into darkness.
👉 The choice before us is simple—support Modi ji, unite as Hindus, and march towards making India a superpower.

We have undertaken a focused initiative to raise awareness among Hindus regarding the challenges currently confronting us as a community, our Hindu religion, and our Hindu nation, and to deeply understand the potential consequences of these issues. Through this awareness, Hindus will come to realize the underlying causes of these problems, identify the factors and entities contributing to them, and explore the solutions available. Equally essential, they will learn the critical role they can play in actively addressing these challenges
