In a shocking incident from Chhattisgarh, former Congress MLA Arun Tiwari has once again exposed a growing menace in Indian politics — where national institutions are attacked not for reform, but for revenge.

Using “Operation Sindoor” as a cover, Tiwari made derogatory Facebook comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Army. He was arrested by police on June 4, 2025, from a farmhouse in a lungi and vest, and later remanded to 14 days judicial custody.

This is not an isolated incident. Another Congress leader, Brijmohan from Durg district, was also arrested for similar defamatory comments. Leaders like Mani Shankar Aiyar and Sandeep Dikshit have done this before.

This is no longer about “freedom of speech” — this is about a deliberate agenda to humiliate India’s constitutional leadership and weaken its defense institutions.

✅ Time-bound Legal Action Must Be Institutionalized:

Any person, party, or institution making false, defamatory, or inflammatory remarks against the Army, Prime Minister, or constitutional bodies must be immediately booked under sedition or national defamation laws.
Such cases should be handled in Fast Track Courts, with verdicts within 3 months.
No political party or NGO should be allowed to shield such individuals — and if they do, they too must face legal consequences.
