Caste Census

Caste Census: Social Insight or Threat to Sanatana Bharat?

As India stands at a crossroads debating caste census, it’s crucial to ask:
Is this exercise meant for the welfare of society, or is it a deliberate political conspiracy to divide the Sanatani Hindu society for electoral gain?

1. Historical Context: Who Opposed the Caste Census in the Past?

  • In 2011, the UPA government led by Manmohan Singh was in power, with Samajwadi Party (SP) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) as allies.
  • At that time, the BJP demanded that the national census must include caste data so that we could understand the real status of OBCs, Dalits, and Tribals.

But Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, P. Chidambaram, and Kapil Sibal strongly opposed it and gave excuses like:

  • “Anyone can claim any caste,”
  • “Enumerators don’t have the authority to verify caste certificates,”
  • “The process is unworkable.”

Result: The Congress-led government rejected caste-based data collection in the 2011 census.
At the same time, Congress furthered Muslim appeasement by declaring Jamia Millia Islamia and AMU as minority institutions and removed SC/ST quotas from them.

2. Political Shift: When Modi Became the OBC Face

  • In 2014, when an OBC leader like Narendra Modi emerged as the Prime Ministerial candidate, Congress received a jolt.
  • Then George Soros and foreign lobbyists advised Congress to demand caste census, the same demand they had earlier rejected.
  • The intention? Divide the Hindu vote on caste lines and weaken Modi’s nationalist and pro-Hindu image.

That’s why today, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav are pushing for caste census – not for empowerment, but for political polarization and to fragment Hindu unity.

3. What Should Be the True Purpose of the Caste Census?

The caste census must serve developmental, not divisive goals. Its purpose should be:

  • To gather accurate data on citizens’ social and economic status.
  • To understand religious, caste, and sub-caste distribution across the country.
  • To design targeted policies and community-specific welfare programs for education, healthcare, employment, and skill development.

This data collection must cover every citizen, regardless of religion or community, with three-level classification: Religion – Caste – Sub-caste.

4. Where Does the Real Threat Lie?

If the caste census is done for national welfare, it’s welcome.
But if it’s being used to:

  • Divide Hindu society,
  • Appease minorities,
  • Undermine Sanatana culture,
  • Create caste-based vote banks

then it becomes a tool of anti-national conspiracy. And this conspiracy is being openly supported by opposition parties, anti-national elements, foreign-funded NGOs, pseudo-secular forces, and media influencers hostile to Indian civilization.

5. The Solution: A Nationalist Approach

✅ As Sanatanis and patriots, we must:

Support caste census only if it serves national planning and social upliftment.

Demand:

  • Inclusive data collection covering religion, caste, and sub-caste.
  • Uniform application for all citizens – with no exemptions.
  • Transparent use of the data strictly for policymaking, not politics.

⚠️ At the same time, we must be vigilant that:

  • No attempt should be allowed to divide Sanatana society or weaken Hindu unity.

The government should be pressurized to maintain transparency and national interest above vote-bank politics.

6. Our Call to Action: Stay United – Stay Aware – Stay Ready

  • We need nationalism, not casteism.
  • We need Sanatani policy, not leftist agendas
  • We need unity and strength, not political manipulation.

Unite India, Don’t Divide It by Castes.

Protecting Sanatana Dharma is Protecting India.

🇮🇳Jai Bharat, Vandematram 🇮🇳
